Fall is officially here. That means the kids are back in school, leaves are falling and the air is getting crisp. But fallen leaves, when wet, can mean slick roads. Luckily, Mercedes-Benz has you covered.

With 4-Matic All-Wheel Drive available standard on the ML, GL, G, and R-Class models, you can be sure you’ll stay in control on the road year round. And you don’t have to drive an SUV to take advantage of this feature; it’s also an available option on select C and E-Class models.

What is 4-Matic and How Does it Work?

In an all-wheel drive system, power from the engine is automatically distributed to all four of the vehicles’ wheels all of the time. This is not to be confused with four-wheel drive, which only works when manually engaged. The Mercedes-Benz 4-Matic AWD system ensures that when unexpected slick conditions happen, your vehicle will be ready.

AWD improves tracking on virtually any surface including ice and snow. In fact, All- wheel drive may be the ultimate safety feature.

At American Service Center, you’re part of our family. And everyone knows where family is concerned, safety is of utmost importance. That’s why we offer a variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles with this special traction feature. For more information on the latest 2007 Mercedes-Benz 4-Matic models, click here or visit our showroom.

On September 21, the most stylish motorcars in the world shared the spotlight with the most elegant fashions at our Fall Trunk Show.

Nearly 500 guests watched as four high-fashion models walked the runway, adorned in the latest fall fashions including looks from designers Burberry, Moschino, Issa and Robert Rodriguez. The models personified the GL’s sporty side, showing off fashions from Ralph Lauren, Zenobia, Piazza Sempione and Elie Tahari while business attire from Armani, Valentino, Moschino and Escada was shown as a fit for the C-Class.

And as the climax to the event, models showed evening gowns from Carmen Marc Valvo, St. John and Sue Wong. As the models glimmered in their gowns, the winner of the Swarovski crystal studded Tourneau watch was revealed.

As guests admired the cars and models, the head chef of Restaurant Vero improved visitor’s cooking skills, showing them how to make a cream sauce with ravioli as well as how to properly cook a pork loin.

Guests were entertained by the fortune teller and roaming magician.

Then, to top the evening off, they were pampered with complete makeovers from Laura Mercier artists and neck and back massages from McLean Face and Body.
